Default which pads for ls400 brake setup?

Which one do you all recommend? i noticed my car doesn't have a good bite on the brake pads. i'm thinking of putting new one in when i replace the brake lines next week. where do you all buy your brake pads from? i don't know of too many website specializes in ls400 pads.

Thanks,
Sid

They are a pretty common pad, so finding them should not be an issue as all the major manufacturers make a pad for the calipers. But the real question is what do you use the car for? Is it your daily driver, do you drive aggressively(Judging by your car list, I would say yes lol), will the car ever see auto-x, track use, etc?

I have always liked the Stoptech Street Performance pads, they are just a great "All around" pad with good initial bite, low dust and low noise, and they can also take quite a bit of heat before they start to go soft on you.

I also really like the Hawk HPS pads as well for a aggressive street pad.

Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Rick

I have used the Wagner, Lifetime warranty, and get the Premium ones. I have gl with them in the past several years on all of my Lexus's. Plus they can be bought just at any parts store.

Duralast from Autozone. Barely any dust, no noise and lifetime warranty. You will lever have to buy pads again. Get the top model they offer and they are still cheap.

Yeah I got the Wagner therma-quiet ones, they seem to stop pretty good.
I was going to get the EBC pads but I didn't want to wait to get them in at the time

I second that notion. You could bring your pads in down to the bare metal back piece and they'll still take them back.

Yea even if they were only a month old you can say you aren't happy with them and they will give you new pads.
