My 2010 IS 300 is making me nuts.Ever since I had to change the front brake pads with"genuine" toyota brake pads I have suffered from a loud whistling noise when using the brakes which is worse and louder when the car is cold. I have tried replacing the pads 3 times, assuming that the parts supplied by the dealer may be counterfeit, but it didnt help.. I even changed both front brake discs (!!) as the toyota service garage recommended, but it also didnt help, and the problem is very annoying. The noise is worse when the pads are cold, and is loudest when the brakes are applied lightly, such as stop and go traffic, where you get eyed a lot by annoyed innocent passerbys. Please help!
