How to lower your rear suspension properly, without coilovers. RCA(No such thing)
Well, I continuously get anoyed when asked if we make a "Rear RCA" because its really a misnomer. What most companies call RCA's are not impacting geometry at all, they are just lowering the shock, not changing roll center. Because the rear suspension has a multi link vs a solid lower control arm, its ineffective to just lower one link, the other side will still work through the same arc.
What they will do is lower the car, increase shock stroke or put an air shock at a nominally better position with the same pressure. That means better holding pressure if you are on bags.
We decided to pull the trigger on our "Integral Drop Arms", IDA's, that incorporate a lowering of 1.5"-2" into the design. Through the combination of a slotted shock hole and a dropped shock mount, its possible to fine tune both drop and alignment while retaining the stock eccentric adjsutment cam bolts.
We have been previously modding our standard arms, but thought we should go this route for simplicity o design, strength and ease of production.
Here is the first set we have built up. Comments and feedback are welcome.
TIG welded and MADE in the USA.
better pics to come.

Probably a stupid question here, but would these essentially allow for a slight drop from stock just by swapping the arms? So could someone with stock rear suspension get a slight drop and still use stock shock and spring?
BTW, your rear axle carrier knuckle bushings are the BOMB!! Finally got them installed. Thanks for the expedited shipping too!!
