my 07 2IS was dropped on Fsports, but around here install for coils/springs is around 400. The drop was enough for me since im a city driver however 2 of my stock struts have since leaked oil and were replaced under warranty. I think im getting lucky because techically the warranty was supposed to void if I didnt also buy the fsport struts from what I hear. On the ISF Ill be going to coilovers but im in no rush.

Problem with springs is that if you don't end up liking the ride height, there's nothing you can do outside of removing them. Which would then cost you the same as new coil overs. You can find Megan EZ STREETS for $500-600.
I rode on Road Magnets springs for 6 months (lowest springs for the 2IS) and made the switch to coils after I felt it was too low. Now with my coil overs and an hours time I can change the height whenever I need to. On long trips I always raise it.

H&R is like $450 INSTALLED ... Coils would be like $800+ installed... roughly double. If you are happy with the H&R drop I don't see a need for coils... Might as well save that $400 ...
H&R springs have the best/even drop for springs, and ride great as well
