Default 225/45/18

Has anyone tried 225/45/18 tires on the front of their IS350.

That will be very big. 1 inch taller for overall diameter because my car came from factory with 225/45/17.

Uhm, the 350 comes with a 18" wheel with a 225/40/18 OE tire spec up front. Well, if you are on stock suspension at stock ride height you might get away with running that tire without any rubbing. I'm sure others have done it before to get that extra "cushion" for the ride comfort.
