40k on my BC and the front right bushing is shot. HUGE pot holes in Philly. Struts are still strong.

I've got 77k miles on my set of BCRs. I've replaced both rear shocks previously, yet one just started squeaking and leaking the other day. The fronts however are still the original ones! Quite impressed! But I placed an order for all new shocks; so I'll be back to perfect again here soon.

Kyb G. Is cheap and decent. F sport will give you a much stiffer and rough ride on bumpy streets. Depends on where you live and drive.

newer f sport for is350 have like 12k 10k springs. But sturdy struts that are tuned to reduce crashing.

Damper life is nearly directly related to rate of compression and time.

For example if your vehicle routinely hits deep potholes, this action literally boils the fluid (burns it) as the valving tries to control change. Over time the fluid breaks down as does the valving. Anyone who has opened a used assembly will note the horrid smell of the abused fluid!

Moral of the story is avoid potholes, reduce speed at speed bumps, train tracks etc and your vehicles dampers will last much longer!

just replaced both front dampers on my BC coilovers less than 2 years and 30k miles. Bought them brand new. Houston roads suck.

I have about 50k on one set of BC extreme lows and 5k on another set (different cars). Seem to hold up so far.
