Default IS250 AWD Suspension thread

I was wondering what all the AWDers were lowered on. Here in NJ 90% (maybe more) are all 250AWD's so we really dont have a choice. Please post a pic, what are you lowered on and how low if on coils. Also, if you're experience any vibrations. Thanks in advance!

lowered on H&Rs... slight vibration at full stop and a little bouncy ride, but overall I am happy with the set up. I know some guys are lower on BC coils.

H&R too..possibly going EZ or BC later on if I want to lower more

sometimes at red light in D with foot on brake, i feel the vibration....it comes and goes..sometimes worse, sometimes not as bad, sometimes none at all....but usually at a long red light i put in N mode anyways

here's a before n after pic

Road magnet springs , I was going to get coilovers but on the awd you can't go lower than 25" because it has a terrible vibration and axle leak .

For coilovers you have 2 options , the Megans or the BC Racing kit.

I recommend the BC Racing kit personally, but either kit is fine, depending on your needs/budget.

Feel free to shoot us a PM and we will be more than happy to go over options and pros/cons with you to get you the right kit!

H&Rs have a 1.4" drop all around if I recall.

EDIT: Those vibrations from lowering with an AWD IS is the very reason why that's putting me off from lowering my AWD IS.

Here is a review of the H&R springs with F-Sport shocks on the AWD IS by a member on the forums.

I had Tein S-tech's on my 250awd before
here are some pics

its a f1.6, r1.4 drop
Has vibration and slight wobble

So I decided eh, the heck. Went for Megan EZ's

24.5" from fender to ground, around 5.5 inch front clearance (no lip)
Much better than springs
And I still have that vibration and wobble (but once you play with the coils the vibration might get better)

I don't think springs matter

Btw, S-tech + stock shocks are stiffer than Megan EZ's

huh?

when looking for springs for my 2is awd.....i checked a few with shops and vendors and they told me stech, htech, eibach pro, tanabe df, etc. are not awd compatible

only ones for awd were h&r, road magnet, fsport and tanabe nf?
