Supra TT Front Calipers & Supra TT Rear Calipers or LS430 Rear Calipers Help
I need new brakes, rotors all around & 1 front caliper on my newly bought 1999 GS400.
I’ve been reading threads & got some info from PHML on the LS400 front caliper swap, but I didn’t want to spend the money on RCA’S for clearance. I ended up ordering Duralast re-manufactured Supra TT front calipers for about $10.00 dollars more than the LS400 calipers. From what I’ve read I need to cut or bend the dust shield, Supra TT Rotors, Pads and Goodridge GS400 stainless steel brake lines.
Now for the rears, I’ve read there isn’t much improvement for the rears to be swapped but I would like to do it purely for looks. I’ve read that there is a bracket for the LS430 rear caliper to fit but I can’t find a thread on how it’s done or where to buy the brackets and if it was mentioned it was 5 years ago on another forum.
I also wouldn’t mind just doing the Supra TT rears since they would match, and I read they were a very close fit, but again no threads on it being done to a 2GS or brackets being sold.
My car came with aftermarket 17” wheels and I was wondering if the specs would help to see if my wheels would clear the calipers.
Any help on the rears & anything I’m forgetting on the fronts and a link to dust shield cutting/mod would be great.
Also a place that sells drilled and slotted gold rotors for the Supra TT for a decent price would be great because there is a lot on eBay but I have no idea of the quality.

Ok I just found a thread saying there is a lot of modification and drilling needed to have a Supra TT rear caliper on a 2GS, so I guess that's out now.
Who makes the LS430 2GS Caliper Mounting Bracket? Can't find it anywhere.

This is the only link i found. it's over 10 yrs old. Your best and cheapest bet would be to get some brackets fabbed up by a shop.
