any shop can install for about $200 (more or less), and alignment itself shouldn't cost anywhere above $150
any shop offers 1 year warranty for any service

At least you found the sole reason why your suspension was acting up.

Kind of a bummer that you have to spend a bunch more money, but you have the piece of mind that Lexus will take care of it now.

I think the problem lies in the non-linear rate of the spring and the lower ride height. IS comes with single tube shock meaning the working piston can hit the floating piston if the ride height is lower than the factory setting at particular point. Add this with progressive nature of many lower springs, the shock can't cope with those operating parameters.

what's the mileage on your car? your shock shouldn't be blown.. is only a 2011. If it's blown it should be covered under the bumper to bumper if you're still under 50k

So, just to clarify. Stock shocks with springs is bad. F shocks and F springs is good. This came from lexus right SilvaIS?

So they quoted me $850 which will include all 4 Shocks and obviously they will need to remove the springs from old shocks and replace onto the new ones and align everything properly.

I have 13,000 miles on my car which is 2011 yes. The service Manager is trying to approve the OEM shock under warranty but I am not sure if that will work because they know it was damaged because of the f sport springs which they say needs to be used with f-sport shocks. They also said the work and I am assuming shocks and springs will be covered for a year. The springs I ordered from Sewell parts and the shocks I got on ebay from Lexus of Miami because it was a better deal in terms of free shipping.

I am guessing I can turn to them if I have a warranty issue or maybe because its a lexus dealership they might warranty it here in NY aswell not sure about all these things yet. I got my self in whirlwind with all these mods

Wait so you bought the fsport shocks from ebay (~$700ish?) and the dealer is charging you $850 for install + allignment?

I would suggest that you get your shock fixed with the stock springs if possible. Basically have the dealer put your car back to stock.

If you still want to be dropped, sell those Fsport shocks and springs and buy a set of coils. Then save that $850 you would have spent.

What you are spending is not worth a ~1 inch drop on a questionable ride.

So the way it looks now on f-sport springs is exactly what I want, its looks beautiful to me, any lower I would def not want. If you knew the roads I drive on constantly you would really understand.

Coils doesnt mean slammed. You dont have to be on the ground btw.

Its up to you though. Personally, ~$300 for the springs, ~$700 for shocks, and $850 for install for that is not worth even half that amount.

^Agreed, I only want to lose the 4x4 gap and not deal with the fun things that involve the lowered AWD (i.e. CV Boots/Axels, driving apporaches for hills/inclines).

and that's exactly what bob is saying
you can do the exact same thing with coilovers for LESS than springs + shock combo
you can lower it however low you want and adjust dampening however hard/soft you want for comfort
you buy coils for its adjustability, not for slamming (although that's what most modders do)
if you don't lower it lower than 24" fender to ground (considering 19" wheels) then you won't have those issues

in other words, you can spend LESS money buying coils, lower the car to SAME/SIMILAR height of that with fsport springs, AND still have the option to adjust dampening if you find it uncomfortable and too harsh for the road (which is apparently what happened with OP and fsport springs alone)

.......................or you can get maybe tokico hts adjustable shocks if they make one for our cars (shocks that can adjust dampening ...not height)
