Brake problem-HELP!
Hey guys, today I washed and detailed my Sc400 and decided to take it for about a 20 minute drive around town. I was running it pretty hard and after a while my brakes started getting weak. It would still stop and everything but when I would be at a stoplight I would have to push the pedal down alot farther to keep it stopped, I ended up pulling the E brake along with the brake pedal and stoplights to keep it from rolling. I can also smell some type of fluid burning everytime I get out, im not sure if that has anything to do with it. I dont think its brake fluid. This is the 2nd time this has happened, Any Ideas?
-Thanks

Sounds like just plain old faded worn out brake. This is the combination of old brake booster, rotors, lines, and pads. I would just drain the old fluid and check the rotors. The smell is the rotors being hot and see if there is any blue discolored spots on them.

Check for leaks if you think you smell burning fluid..Also if one corner is much hotter than the others, then you might just have a seized caliper or something, nothing major.
One of my s-chassis starting squirting brake fluid onto my manifold during a day at the track, so it wouldn't be the first master cylinder i've seen leak bad enough to smoke
