Default Wheel play

My cars been making some clunking in the front wheel when turning and going over uneven pavement. I thought it was my lca at first but once i jacked up the car, i felt a lot of play in the wheel, specifically the hub.
After searching i found out its my wheel bearing. I just need some clarification on what to buy being that every thread says something different.

I know i need the bearing and seal.
My question is do i only need one seal? Or any other parts?
I read in one thread i may need a new hub also since this has play.
Has anybody needed to replace the hub with the bearing?

It really depends if the bearing has damaged the hub, what sucks about it is, you won't find out if the hub is damaged until you've installed the new bearing. I know, 'cause it happened to me, I ended up buying an entire hub in the junkyard with a good bearing, and now have an extra brand new bearing. There's also 2 seals, one inner and another outer, which are different sizes.

So would it be a better idea to just buy a new hub and save myself the headache of changing the bearing/ having to do more work?

Yeah i would get the new hub itself. saves more time and you replaced the whole thing. But do check the bearing though (inside and outside) to see if they're okay

The bearing ended up getting really bad within the last few days. It felt like the wheel was about to fall off, so i just took it in to get a new bearing pressed in. Couldnt really wait for a hub to get shipped.

Long as there's no play in the hub after install of the new bearing, there's no problem.
