Question LS400 Calipers fitment w/AME Wheels?

I want to do an LS400 brake caliper upgrade to my 98 Aristo since they're incredibly cheap for a set ($70 or less) but can't find any info or similar setups to what I have for wheels so I can verify if it will clear or not.

I currently run 19x9 +32 AME Shallen AX wheels. Anyone have any idea or know for a fact these will fit? Worst comes to worst I could just buy the calipers and mock them up

Hard to say....depends on the wheel face shape...if its flat, concaves, etc...

Its more of a trial and error for every wheel.

Yeah that's what I'm finding while searching through multiple Aristo/Lexus forums. Unfortunately I can't find someone with the same wheel setup as me on these forums to verify. I may just mount the caliper and test fit it...if it doesn't fit I'll just put them up for sale. It's cheap anyways so I can easily get my money back.

You just have to find out if its a Hi/Med/Low disk. It usually will say of the sticker that shows the size and offset.

I have AME Shallen AX 18x8.5 +38 offset. I'm using a 30 mm rca with my ls calipers and I have no clearance issues.

Thanks this gives me some hope! I should be receiving my calipers in a few days and am going to do a test fit by mounting the caliper and then the wheel. Lets see if the extra +6 will make a difference.

You should be fine. The face curve doesn't change on the Shallen ax regardless of the offset. On the Shallen ax the offset is changed by the position in the barrel.
