no most likely you won't. with 1" drop you still have a lot of wheel gap, nothing to worry about. synergy he dropped like 3 inches and left no finger gap. that's the problem

I have Iforged 20x8.5 and 20x10's ......I'm getting the JIC coilovers and plan on dropping it 1 inch to 2 inches more than my h&r springs do now..........I have Supra TT brakes in front and I had to use 5/16 wheel spacers to clear .... I have a feeling I am in for major rubbing problems since after I put those spacers in it started rubbing when I hit bumps. It sounds like I should use a dremel or a roto zip to cut. the lip out of the fenders rather than rolling them with a pipe .... Any sugestions????

You may need to use more thatn a dremel. I've seen belt sanders being put to the inside fender.

Roll the fenders. Ask around any tire shop if they rent a fender roller. You bolt it to the hub and adjust the angle....then start rolling.

I read somewhere that you can rent it from Tirerack....ask Brandon about that. Come with heat gun too.

Must be a Hawaii thing .... I'm around irvine and san diego , cali .... and when I ask them about it they act like I'm asking them to make diamonds out of coal. By the way how does the heat gun aid in rolling them (warming up the paint . less cracking???)

Nope...not a Hawaii thing. I gather some reputable wheel shops have it. Yes...heat gun prevents paint from cracking.

ok couple of things. seems like you are rubbing in the front, now that's a much bigger problem coz' the front wheel fender is kinda "rolled" already from the factory. 5/16 inch, that's close to 8mm spacer, that's A LOT! i assume the iforged you got there was sized for the 2nd gen gs already. that means the offset is pretty much aggressive enough for the car. putting 8mm on top of that you will rub bad. and the rubbing we talk about is rubbing the outside of the wheel well, that's VERY hard to correct. and you saying you rub even with stock height?! if so... that's even more of a problem

what's the offset you got for the front? if you can tell me i can give you a much better answer on whether something is possible or you will have to sell your supra brakes

No it is not stock height. It does not rub bad.... just on hard bumps at higher speeds. I have h&r springs (1.5 front and 1.3 rear i think) and Ltuned shocks. Yes the wheels are fitted for a 2nd gen gs. I kinda like how it looks better with the spacers because the wheel is perfectly flush now(I acually want to do it to the back too so they match) It is rubbing on the inside fender lining ,right where it meets to the lip(where those plastic bolts/clips are).No I do not know the offset...I wish i did though. But I'm thinking with coilovers and setting the preload of the spring tight as well as the dampening , there will not be as much travel to rub. Plus the fact if the car is lower there will be negative camber and the tops of the wheels will be tilted inward towards the struts and away from the fender........... well at least its what i hope. Lemme know what you think.
