2007 IS250 Front brakes make CLUNK sound when braking

I have been hearing a strange "kaclunk" sound coming from front end when im braking, the sounds comes from left or right side, Ive never heard this sound since i purchased my car brand new in 06, now i got my front brakes replaced some time last in 2012, you guys think bad brake job or maybe a TSB im aware of?

Could be a few different things. First, are you sure it's coming from the brakes and not the suspension? Second, you said the sound only is present when braking. Does it make the sound when braking hard, soft, or both?
My guess is that if it is coming from the brakes, there could be air in the brake lines which could be remedied by bleeding mainly the brakes where the noise is coming from. If it's not that, then I would say it's a caliper piston issue. The rebuild kits for front calipers on the 350 (which is what I have) cost $20 from the dealer. I rebuilt my front calipers yesterday, and they were a piece of cake to do.

They ended up putting new brake pads on for me. This only "fixed" the clicking for a couple of months. My brake pads only clicked when the car had sat for a while allowing the pads to cool off. They wouldn't click when they were warmed up. Not sure if Lexus has a revised brake pad to keep them from moving do much in the caliper when cold.
