Default Are these sc400 or ls400 front brakes?

I personally think they are ls400 brakes, they appear to be a 4 piston set up, but I've had a few people tell me these were sc400 brakes. The previous owner also said they were sc400 brakes. But I've been browsing a few pictures and they appear to be ls400 brakes. Is there any way to tell by visually looking?

SC400 calipers look completely different. Not to mention SC400 calipers are x2 the weight of these Aluminum LS400 brakes with less stopping power.

Sc400 calipers are 2 pot. They have the 2 pistons on the back side.

Your ls400 calipers are 4 pot. They have 2 pistons on the back and 2 on the front. BTW when you need to get pads and rotors you'll need 95+ ls400 ones if you didn't know already. Pre 95 ls400 didn't have the 4 pots calipers.

Mine are pretty good. But the pedal needs to be pressed a little pass half way for it t really bite hard. I think I might need a new brake master...

Same here, if i pump them twice they stop real good, thinking about switching to to the LS400 master cylinder.
