I plan to buy a set of suspension from a friend of mine but the only thing holding me up is that it’s from a 2001 IS300. I don’t know if it will fit my 95 sc300. Had anyone try to install is300 suspension to sc300? Please help

Closest thing you'll probably find for an answer unless somebody has done it. Just gives a ball park idea.

I've seen people swap parts from other cars before like MK3 springs on an MK4 but I wouldn't really suggest stuff like that.
If you're actually buying this from a friend and not a "friend" then if you really want to go with this you can ask he can sit by as you take off your old suspension and put the IS one on and see if it fits....
In the end most people are going to just say buy the correct parts for the car. (JZA80/Jzz3* coilovers) and I'd probably agree with them on doing this.

They don't fit, you'll need the upper mounts for all of them and the rear lower mounts. Will cost you almost the same like other used coilovers or new ones. Have tried it on mine. Had an IS before and now an SC400

^^ spring rates are very important to your handling. Im suprised to hear they can even be made to fit.
You can usually choose your spring rates depending on what type of coils you buy, or even change out the springs.
I would just get supra stuff, conventional shocks and springs are very reasonable.
Im running KYB's and tanabe nf210 lowering springs, and they are pretty good all around with a mild drop so I can still make it over the bump on my driveway.

Thats lucky, alot of the roads I drive on I feel like you need a 4x4 and are littered with potholes.
I have a huge dent in the bottom of my now spare intercooler where I lost to a large bump in the road.
Getting low can be expensive in replacing parts, especially if you have a nice bodykit, but If you can do it its a nice look.
