Default Brake Squeal!!!!! some advice..

so everytime i lightly apply the brakes they start to squeal, similar to when your brakes are in need of service, i just got back from the dealer and they blame brake dust and that the pads were at 70%.
anyone out there have a solution ??

take out the pads, clean the shim/pads with brake cleaner, and reapply anti squeal grease. I had to do the same to my front brakes when they were making a lot of noise despite having a lot of thickness left. They were pretty NASTY with grime and dirt. No more noise.

Agreed. its some work to do , but it will stop the squealing noise.

Wow the dealer did not want to do anything about it huh? I just had an oil change and sway bar put on over the weekend, and I mentioned before I left my brakes squeak a little every now and then.. well to my surprise the tech heard a squeak, and the dealer authorized new pads and rotors free of charge!
