I was ordering a set from Ebay and the seller refunded my money and let me know that the Coilovers were being recalled due to a leak. Has anyone heard about this? i know a lot of CL members have them, so im just looking out for everyone.

haven't heard about a recall, maybe it was just out of stock or on backorder. Sometimes ebay sellers do that. I just ordered a set from a vender here 3 days ago, no problems.

So was the set brand new in box? If so, it is probably due to them not being able to get their hands on a set...like Damaster32 said. I'm sure a vendor on CL here will have a set for you!

Yea they were brand new in the box for $677.50. they said a new shipment is coming in 3 weeks so ill just wait for that. plus they are going to give me 10% off for the trouble.

im not gonna bother with ebay. I should have checked the vendors first. Im waiting on a couple quotes and just get them for one of our vendors.

I bought something from Kris before but don't remember if it was my Tanabe axle back or my Invidia mid pipes. He was great to work with though, communicated throughout the entire transaction and was a pleasure to deal with. Product arrived when promised and in pristine condition. Better than worrying about an eBay seller who may be selling you "b" stock merchandise!
