New Suspension Going On As I Type!
My 98 GS400 is over at McGrath Lexus in Chicago as I type. They are installing a L-Tuned suspension and Daizen polyurathane sway bar bushings. I already have the L-Tuned steering ECU and a TRB front STB. Can't wait to drive it after the work is complete. My one problem is that I have switched over to my 16 inch wheels with all weather tires for the winter Back to my 17 inch wheels this spring though and the handling should be the equal of the engine.
I will give a report after having some time behind te wheel. My background for the past ten years has been with Audis and Mercedes. All cars had suspension packages and I have had plenty of track time. Unlike many on the CL board, I am much more interested in handling balance and feel than pure acceleration. In stock form the GS400 just doesn't match the German cars in the handling and feedback areas. Of course my German cars certainly were nowhere near as reliable as the Lexus. I'm hopng that this new suspension will give me the best of both worlds!

I absolutely trust you and the other members of this forum who have raved about this and similar set ups. My other cars had bilstein-based suspensions so I would guess this will be a tad less stiff. Fine by me. The GS400 isn't a track car. I just want to make it an offramp and canyon carver!
