Installing Coils, need camber?
Hi all,
Need some expert opinions please, i've bought a set of used BC coils for my 07 IS350. I'm going for a subtle drop, probably a finger gap or two above the tires. My question is, should i purchase a camber kit and have the shop install all at once or install the coilovers and do alignment to see if there's need for it?

you can go reduce the ride height by as much as ~1.25" and still have in-spec camber.
now, if you're the "measure twice, cut once" type of person, in which case you should just get everything done all at once and call it a day.

NO! You do not "NEED" camber adjustable arms or anything. I rode on BCRs dropped 2"+ on stock wheels with 2.8 degrees negative camber in the rear and 2.3 up front. I had Lexus do any alignment after the install and I got 30k miles on my 300 treadwear rated BFG KDW IIs.
What you will want to do is get an alignment after the installation to ensure everything has seated properly and that you'll be rollin proper.
