There's lots of fake Teins on the market
I remember seeing something on their website that helps you differentiate authentic and fake with pictures but you'd probably need the get the actual item to be able to see all the details

 

Tein Street Basic and Tein Street Advance are the entry level for TEIN

the TEIN dealership in Hong Kong is selling 800US Installed for street basic and 1000US installed for street advance (16 level damper), so I assume that is not fake

 

Pricing starts at $940 for the Street Advance damper according to Tein.
