I got TRD STB, but I have to remove engine cover. I saw an RMM STB in GSTRANCE car and it look like his STB has enough clearance to clear the engine cover. Or UGO may clear it too, but it's hard to get. I know Manaray got it in his GS430.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought GSTRANCE has a 400 not a 430? All the bars clear the 400 engine with cover.

TRD requires the removal of the engine cover on the GS430. Do a search using my username and you'll see a picture I took of my engine bay, FYI.

The UGO CF STB will not fit (correctly) with the GS430's engine cover on...it fits, but it rubs...and eventually (like in a week or so), either the engine cover or the bar will have rub marks and will eventually look VERY ugly.

The way I see it, unless you drive around with an acrylic bonnet, or drive with your hood open, NO ONE is going to see your damn engine cover (or care for that matter). So you might as well get the advanage of having better handling....

You mean I'm supposed to have the hood CLOSED???? That's going to revolutionize my driving style.........

Did read of a bar by a company called C-One but never got a reply from the poster and couldn't find anything out about the company..........but supposedly it was a carbon fiber bar that fit the 430 w/o removing engine cover.

Lexus COULD have made a prettier engine..........

you saying the v8 isn't beautiful enough? you gotta be kidding me anyway, better yet i think companies shouldn't just look at the darn i6 in japan when making parts for the car, hehe.... c-one is japanese stuff, saw a lot of them in jap mag, but here in the US it's hard to get i guess
