Spring Rates vs Ride Quality

Spring Rates vs Ride Quality
Hello,
I was doing some research on the spring rates of a few lowering springs that I'm considering for my 08' IS250 RWD.
Here are the facts according to the Manufacturer's Site:
OEM: Spring Rate 256F/291R
Swift Mach Sport: 0.8"F/0.6"R ----250F/291R
Tanabe NF210: 0.7"F/0.7"R----274F/325R
Tanabe DF210: 1"F/1"R -----257F/297R
I'm leaning more towards the Swift because I've had them before on my EVO and they pretty much kept the OEM ride as the springs are LINEAR and the spring rates are very close to OEM.
My question is why does the Tanabe DF210 have softer spring rates compared to the NF210 when they offer a lower drop? http://www.tanabe-usa.com/springs.asp
I don't want to lower it that much because I want to keep the OEM ride as much as possible and I'm going to get 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and don't want to deal with any rubbing issue or fender rolling.
I understand that people will say go COILS instead, but I've had coilovers before and pretty damn good ones at that. I just don't justify spending more than I need to for the set up that I want. Main reason I'm even lowering is because I'm getting 19" wheels and I don't want the 4x4 look and getting rid of the horrible fender gap.
Thank you all!!!!

I loved the Tein H-Techs I had on the Civic I DD'd it. Here's the spec for a set for the IS250 :
Ride Height (F) -1in (-26mm)
Ride Height (R) -0.6in (-16mm)
Spring Rate (F) 336lbs/in (6kgf/mm)
Spring Rate (R) 353lbs/in (6.3kgf/mm)

even though i honesly feel like one of those "just get coilovers" people i think its actually justified though. because with 19's youre going to have that 4x4 look unless its considerably low. but even if you get springs now, then way way down the road you go coils, it will always be there that "you shouldve just gone coils from the beginning" lol.

ANY INPUT ON THESE?

They are definitely better than springs thats for sure. For the price and quality they are not that bad. If you search around you will see the reviews by many ppl here.

I've done my research and it seems like people love them, but some of the complaints I've read include excessive noise especially going over rough terrain. (ie. Railroad crossings).
The complaints about it not being stiff enough when you slam it the ground doesn't bother me. I'm never gonna plan on doing that as this is my daily driver. Just wanting to eliminate the fender gap on my 19" (235/35/19 & 275/35/19).
If they're as noisy as the Teins that I had on my Integra from a long time ago then I'm having second thoughts. I want to keep the "luxury" aspect of my car, even with just the road noise outside or caused by certain parts.

i got these:
H&R Sport Springs
Lowers 1.5 - 1.8” on average
Superb ride quality
Sport Spring kits are H&R’s number one selling product. Enhance the look of your vehicle with a reduced fender well gap. H&R Sport Springs lower the vehicle center of gravity and reduce body roll for better handling. The progressive spring rate design provides superb ride quality and comfort. A lower wind resistance signature will make the vehicle more streamlined and improve gas mileage. If you are only looking to improve one part of your vehicle’s suspension, you cannot go wrong with installing Sport Springs. Fun to drive, H&R Sport Springs are the number one upgrade for your vehicle.
and i was rubbing with (235/35/19 & 275/35/19) in front. on like... every dip and bump and yeah. finally did the bumper tab relocation at my body shop for 150 bucks cuz i dont got time for that haha. thats only thing i had to do to stop the rubbing. And personally, i feel like i still have a pretty good ride quality honestly. even though i only was driving with OEM springs for a month or less. and its been like 8 months now or 9. hard to remember what it was like... hope this helped!
