IS350 2008 Brake squealing
Mine is a 2008 IS350. I recently changed my brake pads with the original ones. I keep getting a loud squeal when breaking. I haven't resurfaced the rotors. Also. sometimes when i brake slowly into a stopping light my wheel turns a little to the right. Maybe a stuck caliper? Any insights? Thanks in advance!

My 2008 is350 does the same thing. It usually only squeals for the the first stop and then the squealing stop I think it's common in the is350 and a lot of cars using the same brake compound. And for the pulling maybe you need an alignment.

Thank you!
I took the car to the stealership. They did come up with the left rear caliper stuck. And that i have to buy the anti squeal kit for the squealing.

I have that crazy squeal too and it's about time to replace my brake pads. Mine is a 2010 IS 300 similar to the 250 i guess. Do the shim kits come along with the new brake pads or do we have to buy it separately ?

I took it to the dealer where i bought the car and they told me it wasn't. But the wheels kind of still turn right when I'm breaking into a traffic light. But I figure the dealer lied to me about the calipers being seized so that they didnt't have to change them, since they are under warranty. But could it be possible that this could also happen because of the alignment?

Its just brake dust
I had that squeak when ever I apply the brakes lightly. Sometimes it was there other times no squeak. I only had 34K, so I knew the pads were not wore out, Take the wheel off and take those little springs that hold the pads in place on top of the caliper. Just clean them off.
Clean the brake dust off the pads and shims. Then clean out that little slot down the middle of the pads. I took a toothpick or something small wooden and cleaned that groove out.
Clean all the dust out of the caliper with a rag and brake cleaner.
Put them back in, if they are relatively new and your squeak will go away. Mines been gone 3k miles now. I have the very dusty Lexus OEM pads.
Usually its just brake dust. Automatic car was does not spray the rotors and pads very good so dust builds up and squeaks.
Have a good one.
