Good lowering springs for a 99 SC300?
#17
Thanks for the reply. I don't need to drop 2". 1" is fine. I have 18" wheels so it will still look OK, just looking for a better ride. I haven't seen any used coils but then again I've only searched local craigslist.

they are not a huge drop but still noticable, they give a larger drop in the rear and level the car out. I have the NF210 springs on both my SC and GS300, i like them because i really think they ride almost exactly like stock. I used them both with the original stock shocks and they have not blown them up yet (about 20-30k miles later).

Is the ride still going to improve if use the Tokiko Blue shocks that I already have? I'm getting conflicting info on whether it's the Espelir springs or the Tokiko shocks that are causing the harsh ride. Thanks for the input guys.

The factory bumpstops on these cars get very very stiff with age, they do not compress at all anymore. So under compression your're ramming straight into these stiff bumpstops, its very harsh. If you look at the kyb or moog aftermarket shock boot/bellows kit, it comes with a new bumpstop that is progressively compressible. Plus you get new boots/bellows in good shape that will protect the shock shaft.

Want to try your setup in my 2000 sc300
Hello can you tell me the part number of the NF210 spring you’re using? The spring mod your running is exactly what I want to try in my 2000 sc300. I’m looking for a conservative lowering and a stock ride. Thanks
