I'm on F Sport and love them. They are a factory spring and the fitment is great, as is the ride quality. Couldn't imagine going aftermarket when there is an OE offering for what you want to do. For what it's worth, I would have just gone ahead and done coils if I had it to do over again. Not that much more expensive. Just sayin........

The only time i would recommend going just springs is if you don't plan to keep your car for longer than 2 years.
However, if your still set on going springs, i would opt for H&R. They offer the best drop imo and have one of the best handling rides. The only other spring i would consider is swift springs. Swift will give you slightly better handling than H&R but the drop isn't as nice IMO. You won't be able to notice the slight handling difference between the two springs unless your tracking.

I'm on Swift and I agree with edgeucated, the drop isn't much different than factory sport springs (not f sport but reg ones), its not noticeable as a "dropped" car. I get tons of people saying I should lower mine when it already is. I don't know how the H&R handles but I do feel a handling difference from stock and it still surprises me how well it handles (though it doesn't feel like it...body roll...still turns though.)

Running on lowering springs doesn't mean you are "dropped" by any means but does look much better than the factory wheel gap. That's where I am now. I will go with coils when the OE shocks require replacement. Just seems like going with coils is the smarter option for anyone with factory ride height that wants to get lower. You are installing new springs and shocks and have the ability to set your height and stiffness. As for the installation price, I do all my own installs, but the labor should be less for coilovers because they don't have to compress and swap the springs. Makes it an even better deal.

I too have an '06 with 19" wheels, and I have Tien S-tech springs. LOVE THEM! Perfect drop, great ride quality during normal driving conditions, no rubbing, but when you hit the corners hard they have great responsiveness, feel, and predictability that inspires confidence during spirited driving. I've used H&R, Neuspeed, and Eibach on other cars of mine in the past, as well as Tien S-tech, and I have liked the Tien's most. I have them on my IS and STi.
