Has any one tried the whole EBC set up rotors and red pads if are there any cons to doing it cause I just bought it (waiting on front rotors to come in) and now having second thoughts. Also does any know where I can get my calipers painted in San Diego.
I have the EBC Redstuff pads with Adam's Rotors and I like the combination. Just be ready because the bed-in period for the Redstuff pads suck. They are loud and dusty as hell until you break them in.
After that they are fantastic though. I'd buy another set.
i picked up a set at the manufacturer facility here in la ebc premium rotors and red stuff pads for 200 for the rear. Bed in was a little long but great overall otherwise no complaints.
I have heard great reviews and from what I'm told the dust (if you care about that sort of thing) created is significantly lower on the reds than the yellows I was looking at. I went to the shop and they offered a lower price. Great customer service too. It was a brake set up I was looking at before I settled on my Stoptech set-up.
^^^ Nice! Did you find a place that can paint your calipers? It would be best if you can do that in one shot. Don't forget to post pics here when youre done.
Yes I did find one I emailed Pann Auto and they said they can do it but, I have to wait cause I just got rear ended by a Damm mini cooper. it's not to bad just need a new bumper.

thanks for the mention!
we specially only sell our two pad offering for that reason...
it's hard to find a good all-around that performs better over stock. without all the adverse effects a good pad has...it's a difficult trade-off.

how much did Pann Auto quoted you to paint the calipers?
