Default Shocks & Springs - Suggestions

So see my other thread about the airbag light. I'll spare this thread that disaster, but needless to say the car is in getting the 2 to 3 day rip apart fix. My car is an IS350 from 2006 and has 74,xxx miles and has the OEM sport package.

I do run 19" F-Sport forged aluminum wheels in the summer and just put new KDW GForce2 tires on. The wheel gap is uneven from side to side and front to back and I do hear a squeek noise occasionally from the back left.

I called the dealer to tell them to evaluate if it needs new shocks but my questions are a couple. First do springs ever really go bad? My gut says probably not really or not at 74,xxx miles so if that is true just shocks then. Do we stick with the stock sport package shocks as replacements or get something else like F-Sport shocks.

Thanks

Still not real clear on the answer from a shock perspective but doing about an hour of searching here looks like BC Coilovers may be a better way to go.

I will research and see how those compare to the stock sport suspension.

Shocks do eventually sag, but do not go pad. I just changed my suspension in my 06 to kyb shocks and H&R springs and am very happy. I however have 110k miles on mine, you might want to take a look and make adjustments first.

For the record, the car comes uneven from factory.

You can get F-Sport (Bilstein) shocks and some spring combo but it's still going to be uneven

You can do better than BC. But yes, the car comes uneven. I believe the driver side is usually higher? Since people usually drive alone and it events out when you drive or so.
