Exclamation Sounds like rubber/metal crunch/grind noise on turning

Hey guys this is my first post and I was wondering if anyone could help me or give me advice as to what the problem is that I am having. I have an '08 Lexus IS 250 and I have had it for about 9-10 months now. I have recently changed the wheels and tyres from the factory 16" alloy wheels that had 205/55/16 Bridgestone Potenzas on them to replica ISF wheels. I got the wheels of ebay for $950 and they are 19" by 8" wide all four wheels. All four tyres are Kumho KU31 - 245/35/19 - 93Y.

Every time I turn under braking and go round a roundabout or make a sharp left or right turn there is some kind of rubber/metal crunch/grind noise and it makes me cringe everytime. I had a look online and everyone says it could be CV joints or ball bearings or something along those lines but its not a constant grinding noise. It only makes the sound when sharp turning at slow-moderate speeds and no other time at all. Any advise or suggestions are appreciated thanks!

Maybe your rubbing the tires cause not much folk put 245 on a 8 width up front. Kinda over kill if you as me. Look inside your wheel well for rubbing mark to make sure it's not. Cause if you put the factory back on up front and there no noise I would say the tires size.

I checked the wheel well a few times and theres no marking.. but the noise is not coming from the front it sounds like its coming back.. more pronounced on rear left than rear right but sound is coming from both sides at the back. The factory ones I threw away cause they were really worn..
The guy at the tyre shop did say that I should have purchased the stagger fitment of 8" front and 9.5" rear. He reckons 8" wide wheels are meant for only the front is he right in saying that? I mean it was too late at the time cause when I went to the tyre shop I'd already bought the wheels and had him install it with tyres.. I do admit 245's are overkill but I got them at an awesome price lol.. or did I screw up by doing that you think?

Clock your steering wheel all the way to one side and check the finder liners for wear. 245 is big for a front tire on the 2IS; in fact, 245 is what I'll be running in the rear on my new wheels.
