Default Your process for adjusting coilovers?

I'm looking to raise the car up a little bit. What steps do you take to adjust the height and how do you measure for evenness? Thanks.

Easy part is measuring; I measure from the upper-most portion of the fender semi-circle to the ground. I'm sitting low at 24" fender-to-ground.

As for the raising of the coilover, to start...spray down the threaded portion with lube. Then take your spanner wrenches, spin the lower of the two locking perches (the two that the spring rest against) and spin to raise the coilover ride height. Raising the coilover this way won't change the pre-load of the spring. Once at the desired height, spin the lowermost perch to lock the threaded body against the lower shock-body collar.

Check this video out; you'll be basically be doing what he says...but in reverse since you are raising the car and not lowering it :

I use my eyes and fingers to measure.

^Nice, and with the diagram and all! Exactly what I stated, but nice to have a diagram too.
