Default Same spec wheels in different diameters....affects fitment?

I'm still deciding between 18 and 19" wheels. Thinking about a set of TE37. If both sets are x8.5/x9.5 with an offset of +22, how differently (if any) will the 19" wheels fit on the car versus the 18" ones, with tires that matches close to factory tire height.

Yes the wheel fitment will be slightly different. The rim itself will be closer to the fender with the bigger wheel.

I'm not sure about your exact setup, but if you are getting really close to the fender, with the smaller wheel you coud get a smaller width tire and "stretch to fit" , but you may not be able to do the same with the larger wheel.

Of course there are other tricks like fender rolling and camber that you could use to fit the setup you want.... depends on what tradeoffs you are willing to make, and what you really want to accomplish.

My front and rear fenders are rolled. The front bumper tabs have been altered.
I do a lot of driving for work, so lots of highways and some are bad. I'm looking for a "fat" tire setup. I figure the extra sidewall cushion can only help keep the wheel from being damaged. I don't like the car really low either, so ride height would be able a half or one finger gap from tire to fender.

Definite "fat" tire...as in 40 series (OE spec)? If not slammed, you should be able to pull it off. Do you have adjustable camber arms and UCAs/ball joints?

Fitment will be the same, just less tire profile
