Default Supra Trd Front Strut Bar

Hey CL Members!

Do you guys know if the Supra TRD Front Bar fits the SC400?

I have tried cheap Ebay Supra strut bars but they didn't clear the engine even when the emblem was taken out.

I checked it prior putting this new thread up. It does not specifically say if the TRD Supra Strut Bar fits the SC400.

Hey Jerry SC!

Great! I hope it fits...do you have a SC300 or a SC400...All Supra bars fit SC300 because of its lower clearance..SC400 engines are much higher than the 300 so only some bars clear it..

Let me know what happens...I hope it fits..

Thanks in Advance

Getting the SC400 We are also planning on putting his CCW wheels on for fun and to see if they fit. The wheels are 275/35/17 on 10' fronts and 315/35/17 11.5' rears. I have my doubts but what the hell.

One Hot.... All Supra bars will NOT fit the SC300. This is why 1sicklex stickied the post cut/paste it for you to read.

The intake manifold of the SC300 is about 10mm too high for most oblong and round bars to bolt down on the driver's side of the car. It seems that most of the flat Cusco CF style bars easily clear and are the preferred choice among other members.

12 dollar and 19 dollar Strut bars from ebay will not fit....Because I tried it before and the bar is too oval to clear the engine...I will attempt to fit the Cusco Supra strut as soon as I get it...

Leon,

I do not think so. Most of the round bars are not clearing the center piece where the L emblem sits on the engine. The flatter designs seem to do the trick.

lexuspros.com has a couple different strut bars for the sc400, one by cusco and one by jic. both seem to be able to do the trick, but they both cost around $200.
