That ride is a little bouncy with the Super Downs in the front. It does get the car lower then what you'd expect. My wife is the daily driver so I had to raise the front up for to keep her from scraping going in and out of the driveways. I have the Downs in the Front and Super Downs in the rear now. Plus it leveled the car out and I don't have that rake look to it. I got the look I wanted, smooth ride back and not bouncing around anymore.
Just got my RSR Downs installed with 20mm spacers. As expected the front still leaves a bit of a gap compared to the rear.
The ride so far is pretty good and cant tell any difference between stock. With the spacers, the rear sticks out farther than i thought it would but havent experienced any rubbing yet.
Just got my super downs install on 20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 rears. I had to use a 15mm spacer for the front to clear the brakes . The wheels are circuit performance and tires are falkens. No gap what so ever with little rubbing when hits bumps. But I love it
I had RSR Down Springs, and stock struts and shocks..
Also had 20mm spacers all the way around..
While I was pleased w/ the look of the car, and it gave me exactly what I was after, the wheel travel on stock shocks and struts was too bouncy for me.. (When I say bounce, I'm referring to how long the car takes to settle back to a neutral position after the impact of a dip or bump on the road)
I would literally get fatigued driving from the anxiety of trying to avoid every piece of uneven road to not feel like I was going to bottom out on streets.. (I never bottomed out, but was afraid I would)..
I had no rubbing issues w/ the BBS wheels and 20mm spacers.
side profile w/ RSR Downs and 20mm spacers
If you decide to go the springs route (Downs or Super Downs) I would replace the shocks and struts for a better ride experience..
It will reduce wheel travel and you won't bounce (take longer to settle) on less-than-perfect roads..
I have bags now, and the car rides how it did when it was stock.
What's crazy is I'm actually LOWER and the bags take the road like a well-made car should.
The picture you posted here is with the rsr downs, or is it superdowns? Asking cus this looks way lower than all the other pictures I have seen with normal downs

These are just Downs...
I've seen the fenders cover the tires using super downs.. I just wanted a conservative Drop to get rid of the wheel well..
Now that I have bags, I cover my tires a little because I know the shocks/struts can handle it.. I'd never truly go lower w/out changing the shocks/struts to lowered versions.. The travel is TOO much.. Wasn't an enjoyable ride "too bouncy" for my liking. Here she is w/ Bags, this is ride height now..
