Default Fenco TT Rear Calipers

I've been looking to do the rear TT brake upgrade on my car and looking for used TT calipers (already have rotors). I've seen used one's selling for 300.00 for the set. I went over to advance autos site and the have the rebuilt Fenco with hardware for $116.00 (that's with 30.00 core charge), my question is this, wouldn't I just be better off buying a set of these ??? I'm going to be painting them grey to match my front LS400 calipers so they should be fine. Anybody got an opinion??

Advanced auto sent me NA brakes, but it looks like they have correct pictures. Rock auto looks like it has the correct pictures, even for the front calipers.

A caliper is a caliper, not too much to it as far as the rebuild goes.

Only other thing to think about is if you can get away with sending them your NA brakes as cores

Thats probably why people are getting NA brakes when you order TT brakes. People are returning NA brakes and the guys rebuilding it doesn't know the difference.

Well, unfortunately you aren't going to find any of these anywhere. Nobody has them in stock. I found originasl shipped for $750.00 for the pair. My car stops fine for that price.

Check RockAuto, they show the rears in stock with the correct picture, $250 for the pair. They also show front in stock for $220. I was going to purchase from them but found a used rear set. Advanced had the wrong picture up last time I ordered them though.

When I had my supra back in 2006 Autozone had front and rears and everyone would send in NA brakes, which ruined it for everyone, because they ran out of cores. I had TT brakes and returned my TT cores.

Rock Auto only has the one piston caliper that will fit the N/A and the NA/T. I talked to them on the phone.
