Default F Sport BBK

Whoever has the F Sport BBK's,

How many miles have you had them for?

How long does their paint coating last?

How many miles did you have them until they... started to chip or fade?

I am new to the car and the forum. If the picture below is what you are asking about these have 12,000 miles on them. No defects at this point.

They look great.

Has the painted faded one bit at all?

I'm concerned because I see a lot of people spell F Sport BBK after a few thousand miles of use. And a lot seem pretty used up.

The finish all depends on heat cycles, environmental elements, chemicals (wheel cleaner), etc. Look at the stock brembo ISF clear coat after a few track events - it peels like no other. Its tough to measure the longevity of brake finish as so many factors come into play. The FSport kit I have sitting in my garage had brake fluid all over the calipers and started chipping the paint...Nothing a quality professional high temp. paint/clear or powedercoat cant fix though. At all costs, avoid getting brake fluid or harsh chemicals on calipers! lol
