hey Dex,

I have ebc with the TRD rotors as well. So far they are working really nice. How many miles did the TRD pads last you?

Also, not sure if the EBC has any audible sounds to let you know they are wearing out or not.

Wow. I hate that I missed that! Anyway, sounds like the exact tsame thing.

Get this. I have A TON OF FRONT PAD left. You can see the pics of the fronts that I posted up last night.

That just doesn't make any sense. Could the proportioning valve be out of wack? Why would trhe rears wear out before the fronts? Different compounds?

Anyway, on to better things I guess.

I'm not sure. I'd have to go back and look at my mileage on the invoice on the date of the install.

The rears wearing out way before the fronts though, that's really bizarre to me.

Default Me too.

Factory rears went 80k miles. My TRD rears went down in 5k. Way to Dusty as well. I could not believe it. Luckily I caught the problem and went straight to the dealer before any rotor damage (I have slotted/drilled rears).

Just had a 15K service done (OK, so I have over 17K but what the heck). Looked at the bill and all the inspections. In any event, as far as brake and tire wear, they measured that on the car. I am sure they do this on all the services but at 17K miles I have 7mm left on the front pads to the wear sensor and 8mm on the rears. Fronts are wearing slightly faster but actually pretty even. As for tires (stock 16s), front left, front right and rear left all have 8/32 inch of tread left while the right rear has 9/32 tread left. 2k1 GS430.

Default NOW I DON'T FEEL SO BAD

I got about 10K out of my TRD rear pads. What a disappointment. EBC pads all the way around as soon as they get here next week. (Go UPS, go!!) They chewed up my rotors like you wouldn't believe also

My stock rear pads wear uneven on both sides( on the insides) I had to clean the rust and dust to free up the caliper so the shoe's could slide through before I put my EBC's on. I ate my right rear rotor.

I had this problem about a year ago.

stock rotors don't go well with TRD pads. They killed my rotors fast. Stopping power was great tho.

Thanks a bunch to my trusted service advisor at Longo

DaveGS4- Are the EBC Greenstuff pads less dusty than the TRD?? I sure hope, since I'm getting them put on all 4 corners tomorrow. Just curious (and hopeful)
