Thanks Kenmakara, just to confirm though you've just changed the springs only ?, not springs & shocks ?

Yes H-Tech only factory shocks everything aligned up with no trouble, there is some camber adjustment from factory. check my build thread for more pics https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...rmbringer.html

Hi Guys, total newb question. I just picked up my IS350 yesterday. Since I have the Fsport adjustable suspensions, will lowering the car affect anything?

If you lower the car with springs or the J5 AVS compatible coilovers, you won't lose the feature.

Thank you Stern. Just to clarify, if I lower the car with springs or compatible coils, I won't lose the adjustable feature in Sport + Mode. The only thing it'll affect is the ride quality.

Also, if I go with Springs, will it damage my shocks over time?

I had the downs and was very happy with the ride, when I put the stock springs back in I could honestly hardly tell the difference (comfort wise) so +1 for the RSR.

Can someone who has the RSR Down's (not super down's) do me a fav and measure the ground clearence from the ground to the bottom of the front bumper at the lowest point ? trying to work out if an ISF will scrape on my driveway like my 350 did..

cheers.

I would go with RSR Half Downs, its the closest youll get to a stock ride

Default Vibrations

Any AWD owners out there with a lowered 3IS f-sport getting the vibrations that came with lowering the second generation models? I currently have a 08 250 AWD on H&R Springs and F-Sport shocks (dealership did my alignmemt) vibrates while stopped and in drive (stops when I put it in neutral, but I don't switch back and forth because it's bad for the tranny). I'm looking to trade up and want to know what I'm getting into. Also question number 2. Does the IS350 F-Sport come with FSport springs and shocks or does it come with a "sports tuned suspension" that dealers like to put on. Thanks for any input!

Any of you guys who happen to have AWD, do you have any wobbles or vibration after lowering. I'm gonna trade in my AWD250 for a 350FSport, and may lower it. Thanks guys!

I went with RS-R Down springs. I picked them up from redline360.com for $279 shipped.

I've included a before/after pic.

Good luck!
