Default Camber Correction Kits

Hey guys, i was out browsing this japanese website searching for everything that they had for soarers and came across this camber kit for the soarer.

http://www.takakaira.com/asp/template.asp?cat=2&id=788

I did a search on JIC's website (http://www.jic-magic.com) and they say that these parts do not correct camber on lowered cars. while on the japanese sit it says it corrects all camber. I was just curious of which website is correct. Id assume the JIC website is correct, but i am just seeing what you guys think.

I believe we will have a camber kit available soon for both the front and rear of the SC. It should be somewhere around $149 for each end of the car.

We already test installed a prototype set and it seemed to work pretty well. It was basically a special replacement bushing and hardware for the upper control arm bushing.

I'll let you guys know when I have more info...

Washers won't work on a wishbone suspension like this. It is custom hardware and bushings.

I'd say 3-4 weeks perhaps?

Default teins in on 2 on

Hi Folks,

I just recived my teins coils, however they sent 4 fronts and we only found out after the car was taken apart and the fronts installed. After inventing some new cuss words. I told the guys to cut the rear springs untill the correct rears arrived, so thats what they did. The first thing in noticed is it looked perfect (they cut 1 full coil off of each rear). Then the steering wheel was way off center. I took the car straight to NTB for a 6 month gauarantee alignment. To make a long story short it rides almost as good and and looks awsome the top of the tires are almost level with the top of the wheel wells, now I am afraid to put the rears on... NTB was able to adjust camber and toe to within fact specs.

Sows ear into a sik purse, i needed it!

I think everyone has been told this. Factory specs are the elusive issue. Your car is no longer factory height, the factory setup just won't work for you anymore. There are about 12 threads here about people told the same thing by the shop after using "state of the art" alignment equipment and being told it is "within factory specs". The unfortunate side is, they will only keep banging on it, never will they offer to buy you new tires because of uneven wear.

Why is your purse "sik"....

What teins did you buy? and how far down did you put it. Because i have the CS's, and the front is as far down as it can go. The camber isnt that bad, but i want to stop it before i need to buy new tires.

Well Todd, please keep us posted on the kits. Thanks

Default Takahira

hey i was just browsing that taka site and i was wondering could any of those parts be fitted for a sc400? i mean like the suspensions or the dressup stuff? i kno they're pretty much the same car except for the engine and they do list the engines there and very much the uzfe isn't listed at all except for the trd lsd... was just lookin for a confirmation that most of the other suspension parts could be used, if so...... ready to swipe and sign...

If it fits a Soarer of the same year with a standard suspension (not tems or air) then you should be fine.

They have strut bars and the side marker lights there too.
