Looks great. I guess it needs to settle more but the gap looks about the same as my S-techs (a little less than a finger gap) with stock wheels.

Just got my rsr downs installed. I think they are a little bumpy. I haven't gotten an allign ent as I want to wait a week to let the springs settle. I'm on stock wheels. Just wondering what you thought about the ride. I like the tight feeling but with " stock like " ride description, I think it's a lot more jerky. I'm going to by the tanabe brace next week, so we shall see.

i like the ride alot...considering how low it is...it doesnt feel very bouncy and when i put in in S+ it feels just like stock....and my wife drives the car and doesnt have any complaints either!

Pics of my springs that I received.

Part of the confusion is the fact that they are part of the RSR Super Down series, but there are two drop heights (for AWD at least).

An explanation from RSR USA:

It is labeled T197S Super Down, because in Japan, it is much lower according to the standards for the Japanese market. The actual Super Down springs for the 2014 Lexus IS is T197S2.

I think there is a Half Down Series offered for the Japan market which I think that's what they consider to be Down in Japan...

mine just arrived has the blue label though - T195D - Down .. guessing no confusion with the RWD version.

RS*R actually stopped shipping (or at least it looks like that is what they did) the Down version of the springs to replace the label to T195D to avoid the confusion. I noticed on their website that the part isn't in stock but when I ordered them from another place, I was told that they would be in stock this week.

Quick Reply: RS-R downs..or are they!?!?
