New front oem pads with no slot?

So i just bought the front oem brake pads (the low dust one) and notice there isn't that slot in the middle of the pad. Is that how it comes? Cause the rear pads has that slot in the middle

What was the P/N on the box for the fronts you got? Did you install them already?
