So finally BC is releasing their coilovers for the 3IS....I pre-ordered mine last night and was told that its still another 2 WEEKS for completion and an extra week just to be safe because i'm doing a custom set.....
Just like my 2IS I'm going with the 12k/10k spring rate setup...
Once I receive and install I will definetly post a review on it for you guys...

the 3is is a little heavier. I'm getting 12/10 for my 4gs and now wondering if it's a little soft... when you get it on the 3is, let us know how it feels compared to the 2is (if you can remember lol).

I already have it...it's been on the car for 3 weeks now... i love it 12/10 is perfect.. 14/10 would be too stiff for the IS and the GS trust me

Any updates on the ride? or anyone else have these?
I had BC's on my Subaru and they were great.
Can you elaborate on your spring choice?
Did you go stiffer because the car is heavy and the stiffer rates will keep it firm? I know they will be stiffer than stock but I want to maintain my smooth'ish ride while still being able to slam. Do you think the dampening will be enough to stiffen things up as needed?

Just wanted to say that all of Ryan's statements are 100% accurate. I got my BC's installed last night with the 12/10 spring rates and its rides nice. It actually rides better than my 2IS on BC I say. Tho my coils are still settling I really enjoy my car a lot more!
