So... Take pics or take a look and see. I really think that it would be impossible to do what you are saying. The geometry and pure setup of the thing makes it impossible. I just fear that someone will read this thread and believe that it will work without the proper parts. That is unfortunate.

Default Supra NA Eibach Prokit Drop *PIX*

Finally lowered my car!! This is the Supra NA Eibach Prokit drop with stock Supra TT shocks.

Drop is 1.3" in the front and 1" in the rear. I also installed my Supra TT front & rear sway bars. (Whoever decides to do this install of the sways needs the rear subframe cushions from the TT)
Part #'s for the rear subframe cushions are:
52206-14010 & 52205-14020

Now the pictures:

Here is a before picture:

Here is the after picture:

looks good. you should get your wheels rebalanced and have them put the weights inside. it doesn't look so good to have it outside

Lookin' real nice there Tony, good work. Did you have a shop do it or get it done yourself? The rims stand out more and look like they belong there now.
By the way did you happen to take any snaps of the rear sway by any chance?

Howie: I'm probably just going to paint the weight black, too lazy to take it back to the shop.

Buck: I had a shop do the install.

Here is a picture of the rear bar underneath the car:

Here is a comparison of the Supra TT rear sway and stock SC400 rear sway bar.

Going to go get my hand done alignment on monday. The person I spoke with said $70 for all 4.

Wow, looks good, i can't wait to drop mine the same way. Definitly get that alignment done so you don't burn off those expensive 17" tires.

Trying to sneak that drop in while you install the bars huh?
The front fender gap isn't so huge now. Looks great.

Hey Tony:

Car looks great. I noticed you have black trim around the windows (as opposed to the more common chrome). Did the car come with black trim or did you do something to change it from chrome to black? Any info would be appreciated.

I think my car does come with the chrome trim, but it doesn't show up from the pictures.

ACleanSC4 or pcmw
I've had a quick search on the topic on here but have not found the answers I'm after.
Just seeking some clarification on the Supra TT front and rear sway bar fitment on an SC300/400.
I've just completed swapping in the Supra TT rear subframe cushions where the TT bar will now rest and plan on fitting the Supra sway bars next weekend.
Regarding the 4 links on the end of the bars, are the SC links the same as the Supra TT links and therefore interchangeable or must one also get the Supra TT links to complete the conversion?
Thanks in advance.

Manny,

Links are the same. No need to change/modify them at all. The front sway bar mounts/bushings are the same also. The rears are, of course, totally different. I would order new rubber bushings all the way around if I were you. They are cheap from Toyota.

pcmw
Thanks for your help.
I was able to complete the swapover yesterday and I'm very impressed with the results - steering is solid and little body roll evident at normal speeds..
In the end, I ended up getting new Whiteline adjustable bars for the Supra TT for AUD $320 (USD $192.00) instead of used stock Supra TT ones from the wreckers for AUD $250 (USD $150) . I've left the adjustments at a medium setting and can dial up more stiffness for the occasional track day. A very worthwhile invesment on a Soarer/SC.
I've now completed my suspension transformation with replacement rubber control arm bushes, TEIN HR coilovers, Supra rear subframe cushions and the Whiteline sway bars - it's gone froma wayward steerer to a predictable steerer - thanks for everyone's suggestions on this forum.

I've had the tt sway bars before, but couldn't figure out how to mount it to the back. When you talk about subframe mounts, doesn't the sc300 rear bar have them as well, but just smaller? Aren't the subframe mounts the ubrackets? I removed the rear sc sway bar, which was a pain in the *** because it required to losen the rear mufflers. After placing the tt bar, it seems impossible to line up the endlinks. The entire tt bar seemed too wide. What's going on here?
