Coilovers
#6
Did you hear this from someone who has actually tried both, ridden in cars equipped with both, or handled both the RSR and J5 coilovers? It would be really hard to make the above statement w/o doing this imo. If so, I (and others) would like to hear about the comparisons.
To the OP, there are quite a few threads about the RSR and J5 coilovers.

I think it comes down to what you want to do with the car.
RSR Sport coils offered me full adjustability- i'm able to ride low, and its super comfortable, not stiff and bumpy at all, which is growing on me.(Passes the gf test, because I usually like stiff rides)

That would seem to interest me the most, to be able to keep that feature and still have the coils, I'm guessing that could be another reason why so many people are just getting springs?

Rough estimates on costs for any of these coils?

ive ridden in both rsr coil overs and i have J5 currently. RSR does not ride bad but the quality of j5 is 100% on the rsr you have to use the factory parts from the rear shock J5 you don't comes with everything. i feel like rsr tried to beat around the bush not making the top hat for the rear. when paying so much money you would only expect the best. on my car if i want to ride like a cadillac i can or ride very stiff to drive like an A** around corners i can comes with extender for the rear as well. full kit weights under 40 pounds too =). overall i am very happy with my J5 coil overs you can definitely see the quality and effort they put into them
