suspension/tires for is300 track car
Been a while since i been on here, used to own and sc and now i am going to build an is300 track car. I got a roller off a friend because his car was stolen and stripped for the most so i have a good base. Now for talk of suspension. I found figs has a widetrack setup used mainly for drifting, but since the car is nose heavy i figured this would help with the roll into the corners. Also means going a custom widebody which i planned on. Figs arms will be used outback and every bushing will be replaced with spherical bearings. Since ill be going widebody im wondering about wheels and tires. The figs suspension says run a 245-40-18 tire. On a widebody i was looking more into a 255-35-18 or a 265-35-18 and auto analyser racing said if i wanted to go real fat a 285-30-18 would clear because height but wheel bearings would need replaced after almost every event. I have seen personally a 265 front on an is300 but it was a show queen and never been tracked. What do the experience track drivers say for tires and wheels? I want as much grip in front and back as possible. Coilovers will be kw variant 3 or ast double adjustables. Thanks for the time and help
