Just change my brake pads...
Hello!!!
Last saturday I changed my brake pads on all four wheels with the Akebono Pro-ACTs and did a full brake fluid replacement with the ATE TYP200. So far the braking is butter smooth, grippy and not a single squeaky noise, even when the car is cold.
But now, every morning when i start my car, as i slightly apply the brakes, the rear one make a slight clunk noise that dissappear after i roll a couple of meters. So far i've noticed it everytime the car is cold.
Should I be worried?

Were the guide pins moving pretty freely in the rear when you did the replacement?
I'm wondering if they might be a little sticky until they warm up a bit.
Or rather sticky when cool, until you break them free by stepping on the brake, then fine until the car stops for a while again.

I didn't replace the pads by myself, i went to a shop. The mechanic told me that my brake pedal might feel a little spongy while the pads breaks in. The pedal felt like that the first 2-3 days but now it is very hard and i love it like that.
He did an adjustment on the parking brake on the rear calipers. He inserted a screw driver through a hole in the rear brake discs and made some kind of adjustment. I couldn't see exactly what he were doing tho.
The thing is that after a run a little no more noise, not a single squeak and the brakes are working very well.

Well, this monday i went to the shop and explained the situation to the mechanic who worked on the car, it turns out that one of the metal springs that hold together the pins that pass trough the Brake pads was not installed correctly. He redid it and no more loose pad noise!
