Default Which Front Brake Pads? (Akebono)

Hi,

I'm looking to get new brake pads and have always used Auto Parts Way as they have warehouse in Canada so I can avoid international shipping, duty, etc.

They have the Akebono Pro-ACT Ceramic for the IS250, however there are two products for front and I'm wondering which one I should be using.

I have a 2009 IS250 AWD (Canadian Spec) BTW - Would love for Jeff to chime in.

Front 1 - Part No. AKE1617569
http://www.************.ca/PartDetai.../pagenum1/tabS

Front 2 - Part No. AKE1889416
http://www.************.ca/PartDetai.../pagenum1/tabS

For rear they only have one set so I'm pretty sure this is it - Part No. AKE1777427
http://www.************.ca/PartDetai.../pagenum1/tabS

Which front should I be getting?

Thanks

those part numbers don't seem to line up with anyone elses.
the part numbers I come up with from other sites are
front act908
rear act1113
And the prices are outrageous.
Try thewrenchmonkey. They have a .ca site. Prices are cdn and shipping via canada post seems free. Their total for your car came to <$120
You could also contact Rockauto and ask about import charges because I don't think they will be high. Although in fairness, I bought mine off of ebay from someone else for a little more. Afterwards some more research indicated I could have used rockauto for less.
Even with import charges for my is350 my total was < $160 CDN. For fronts and rears for yours ************ is going to be nearly double what I think what you'll pay from rockauto. and well over double the wrenchmonkey prices.
I can make no recommendations on the sites I mentioned. I've used neither.

Thanks I took a look the price is definitely better even though I do get 25% off from APW.

I checked Akebono website too and your part numbers are correct, the one I posted may be a catalogue number for APW themselves.

$135 tax in (HST) shipped with shims on Akebono ceramic, great price!

Any other sources for rotors? I'm just looking for some simple Centric (preferably vented) rotors with the black coating (can't stand the rust that builds up on the OEM ones).

someone else might have a good source for rotors. Mine didn't need to be changed yet, so I didn't look too hard.
