Default Bent Sway Bar - Can it be fixed?

Hey Folks,

I'm looking to save a little bit of cash and was wondering if my sway bar could be bent back in to shape. I hit a curb and drove for about a quarter mile to get off the road.

I'm curious if anyone thinks my sway bar is fixable or do I need to replace it?

This is the front passenger side, on a 2000 Lexus GS300

Thanks!

cant, have to get a new one because it will never be the same. You can "try" but dont ever expect a perfect alignment or perfect riding car. If it were me I would just bite the bullet and buy a new one and be happy nothing else more expensive got damaged!

Sadly the upper and lower control arm both have to be replaced along with the sway bar link and lower trailing arm.... looking to save a little bit of cash. If I were to bypass the "perfect riding car" would it be possible to use it after bending it back? or is it pretty much a no-go all around?

It would be the dumbest decision ever to replace all the other arms which are more expensive especially the uppers and then not replace the sway bar. I highly suggest you get one from a GS That's being sold for parts. I have a guy who lives an hour away from me who always has the fairest prices if you want I can see if he has one Im sure he would only charge like $50

Thanks Champ.

Found a local junkyard and am going to pick up the bar and training arm for $80 bucks... that makes sense.. I was just looking to keep costs down if possible.
