just curious?? install price on h&r coils.
Was quoted 400 bucks all the way down to 150. Whats funny is the 150 est. the gentleman actually acted excited and seemed to have some knowledge with coils. I want the best job, some guy told me 6 hours or 1.5 on each wheel, another told me 1.5 hours for them all. I got 40 a piece for each wheel up to 95...what gives...is more really better, i know thats my own judgement call. any suggestions

Are the h&r coils already put together ? If they are , install shouldn't take more than 3 hrs doing it slow. Do not go to the 6 hr guy. Highest price guy is not always the best. This is really easy to install , so any competent mechanic should be able to do this job.

1.5 hours on each? Is this guy installing these with his toes? I just had my JIC coilovers installed by someone who is very familiar with Lexus suspension and if the work was done straight through with no breaks or goofing around, it could have been done in 1 to 1.5 hours...

sounds good
i shall not be a push over on this one!! I am hopefully getting them installed tomorrow (friday afternoon), Should i wait or have my nav installed? I hate last minute things. The nav would be nice on the spring break thing. But since a hour is what it will take, and a hour and a half at the most...jezzzz these guys are pricing me waaaay too high...wonder if it is because of my car..

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there a reason Lexus dealers charge $400-$600 to intsall the L-tuned suspension? I know labor costs are higher, but they estimate 5-6 hours to do the install. Should it really take this long? Just curious

just received them..finally.
they look like they are in mint shape, i am curious if the spring being compressed would take much more time for them to do? Very excited about having these installed. Should have pics of entire car by week's end finally.

one more thing.
which suspension item will make a big difference along with the coils. I am interested in something to make it handle well and hang or even outhang a m5. Are some parts overkill?

I just got the bilstein pss kit installed. It cost me $180 through mobilemotorsports.com. He has all the air tools in his truck and comes out to you and does it. The install took about 2.5 hours and I was able to see how he did it. Now I can probably do my suspension if I ever need to get back in there.
