DIY: 3IS Spring Installation! Picture intensive

Followed this guide last week installing RS-R basic-i coilovers, only trouble I ran into was stripping one the sway bar end link bolts, I really appreciate this post providing diyers a great starting point. Went with a mild drop, about a finger gap all around on 19" CE28s.

Before trying, soak the threads with penetrant.
Hold the center with an allen wrench (make sure it's the right size and inserted all the way (helps to have the type that is built into a socket and can be used with a socket wrench), then use a box wrench for the nut.
Or you can try hitting the nut with a high torque impact gun.

You just need that one good hit with the impact gun to break the nut free while holding it with vise grips.

I used the wrong size allen wrench that stripped the bolt, ended up sawing it off and replaced with a new aftermarket endlink. Used the correct 6mm allen wrench on my 2014 fsport rwd for the other side and that came loose fine.

Help...
So during my install I was able to get everything fairly easy but in the process one of my “SKID Control sensor” snapped off leaving the connector Without the wire.
is there anything I can do to save it or will I have to replace the whole cable sensor....?? Worried about the cost as well

@YoungRider Can you post a pic of which one that broke and indicate at what corner of the vehicle? We might be able to help with a solution. I'm assuming it's one of the ABS sensors that was damaged, as there is no actual Skid Control Sensor, but likely the light on the dash is now on.

- Replace the wire harness between the sensor and the main harness - it won't take much time and the part isn't terribly expensive...it's plug and play. I'm assuming this is one of the front wheels where the sensor connector was damaged.
2015 IS250 RWD:
Left front abs sensor wire: 89516-30030
Right front abs sensor wire: 89516-30180 - Disassemble the connector and reattach the wires to the pins - this won't take long if you have the right tools
The white piece in the front of the connector needs to be removed first, then if you look inside the connector you will see the metal pins with a little plastic release tab (like a tongue) on top of each. You lift the tab away from the pin and push the pin out the back of the connector (the wire side).
If there is enough wire attached to the pin, then you can solder it back to the harness using flux, solder, and heat shrink.
If the wires were pulled out of the pins completely, then you will need to crimp the pins back to the ends of the wires. This would mean opening the ends of the pins where they are crimped already, and then recrimping them onto the appropriate wire. You could also buy two new pins from the dealer and just crimp them onto the wire also.
Whichever process you choose in option two, it's a little bit of tedious work.

The sensor that is damaged is connected to the ABS, VSC (Skid Control) and PCS (Pre-collision) systems...so once you fix it, the lights will either go out on their own, or you can then get them cleared without them coming back on immediately.
They are all on due to the broken sensor connector...has nothing to do with the coilovers.
