Transmission mount replacement

Hi guys,
I just replaced the transmission mount on my 93 SC400 (108k original miles) pretty easy job. Just remove (4) 14 mm bolts from the transmission support, (4) 12 mm nuts and (4) 12mm bolts from the old mount, install new mount and reinstall all nuts and bolts. Make sure to support the transmission with a jack so it does not tip down while the transmission support is removed. Thata is yet, should be good for another 100k miles.

I got the mount at a local Toyota dealer for $48, just give them the VIN number and they can order any Lexus part. The whole car definitely feels a little smoother and quieter, shifts are are less noticable as well. The amount of improvement will depend the condition of your current mount, my was not too bad, but it's even better now.
I'm planning on changing the drive shaft center bearing next, appreciate any advice from people who have done this.

I just did both of those parts last month and it was not all that hard. on the drive shaft you will need to get help pressing the bearing off the shaft. The trans mount was just to easy.

I just got my diff changed out again (second Supra TT LSD). When I did I had the center shaft bearing replaced. It turned out that the Lexus dealership did not torque my tranny mounts on. They were only hand tight. One bolt was already gone and I think the vibration helped cause the failure of the driveshaft-side bearing of the diff. The center shaft bearing installation is a piece of cake once you unhook the driveshaft from the diff. In order to save money in labor be sure to have the differential you want installed at the same time.

WOW Hermosa,
You have the WORST luck with car shops and your car. Shop you ordered the Torque Converter from sent wrong one. Lexus did not install it for 2 weeks. Turbo is all Toyomoto's problem. You were sent the wrong MAF. Your tranny was not torqued by Lexus mechanics. Springs put in backwards. Control arm bushings were "wrong". This is beginning to look like a trend.

do any of you guys happen to know the part # of the transmission mount or could point me in the right direction to find it? First dealer i went to said it was $77 next said $64 and toyota said if i had the part # they could look it up, i figured it would be less there.
